Mother’s Day banquet for refugee and immigrant women this Saturday at Indian Garden on Devon. Please pray we will affirm our several friends from multiple countries. Pray we can share Christ’s love with them!
Our next public service will be this Sunday morning 945 AM at Indian Garden Restaurant, 2546 W. Devon. Come and worship Christ with us! Nora Brathol from World Relief will be our guest speaker. Mother’s Day this Sunday!!!
Many prayer requests: Joy Mall is returning to her home in India for a month of ministry to those with disabilities; Bethany is preparing to leave in August for her two year missions trip. We have two college / seminary interns starting with us in a few weeks; they will work with youth and outreach to the community. The Basketball camps start in early July. Park Fest is August 1st. “I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord ….” Much to do; a lot of fun serving Christ!

*Cook-N-Connect for ladies Saturday February 25 11AM at Andrews’ home. This is a great opportunity for women to share their lives and heritage through cooking and recipes. Please invite friends.
*We are planning to start another welcome package for refugee families in our neighborhood. Please contact us if you have items to donate. We have helped serve three families in the last five months: Two Burmese families and one from Iraq. What a joy and privilege to welcome new families into our neighborhood!
*Many wonderful opportunities to minister and care for our local friends from Buddhist, Muslim, and Hindu backgrounds. Please pray for fellow servants to help us assist and care for our dear neighbors. God is doing good through His people at Our Savior Church.
*Next Sunday morning service at Indian Garden (2546 W. Devon) will be March 11th 945 AM. We had a tremendous time together for our February meeting.

*Thank you all for helping with the recent Burmese Refugee family. We also helped care for an new Iraqi family that moved to town last week. We are already gathering items for a new family this winter/spring. Jesus is shining through you all!

- We are privileged to care for another Burmese refugee family. They are schedule to arrive in America (Chicago) January 30th. We wish to stock their apartment with specific groceries and household items prior to their arrival. In addition, we want to befriend them and help them become acclimated to life in Chicago. Please prayerfully consider how you might be involved. Contact Bob if interested in helping to welcome this dear family.

-Saturday 21st 7PM, youth basketball outing to Loyola University.
-The Schneiders will be leaving to Africa soon. They will be with us Sunday the 15th and 22nd. Please join us especially on the 22nd as we send them off with our blessings.
